Workday Technical Consultant (Finance/SCM + Technical)ย

Roles & Responsibilities:ย 

  • โ€ฏThe primary function of the Workday Technical Consultant is implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the Workday system
    โ€ข Design, build and implement strategies that can help enhance business performance.
    โ€ข Resolve production issues as well as guiding the team in solving Incidents/problems.
    โ€ข Support maintenance of Workday Finance configuration, including setup and functional configuration
    โ€ข Maintain, test, and implement new functionality within Workday Tech modules
    โ€ข Manage business application implementations, changes, enhancements, and process improvements.
    โ€ข Configure new user/role-based security group for access management
    โ€ข Maintains partnership with relevant stakeholders including Business, Information Technology counterparts and Vendors.
    โ€ข provide healthcare industry perspective for customer business requirements and mentor junior team members
    โ€ข Assist the integration consulting team in helping to architect integrations between Workday and external vendor solutions
    โ€ข Ad hoc reporting as required
    โ€ข Review software updates and releases and assist with testing as required.
    โ€ข Support upgrades, interfaces to other core business systems, interfaces to external systems, and helping to define and support IT processes.
    โ€ข Ensure all configuration updates follow proper procedures and workflow in order to comply with internal audit requirements
    โ€ข Work closely with end users to prioritize and manage completion of support tickets. Track and report support metrics.
    โ€ข โ€ข Leverage business knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvements
    โ€ข Minimum one life-cycle implementation of Workday, including workflow development and integrations.
    โ€ข Understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, procedures and best practice
    โ€ข Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
    โ€ข Proven communication skills, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability
    โ€ข Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, good judgment, mature and positive attitude
    โ€ข Stakeholder Management
    โ€ข Experience gathering requirements from the client / business and documenting.
    โ€ข Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes
